Though I don't like to put it in such terms, I'm essentially a New World Order conspiracy theorist. I believe secret societies such as the Bohemian Grove, Skull and Bones, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateralist Commission, the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group, et cetera, have infiltrated governments and are trying to take over the world. This "New World" they envision would be composed of a global government ruled by a few controlling elites. Looking at history, power has become increasingly centralized, meaning less freedom for the population. The modes of control are now more covert and involve control of the media, the CIA, Total Information Awareness, Homeland Security, and other means of influence and surveillance.
